Bat Houses

We offer a variety of Bat Houses, including both wooden and recycled plastic styles. Contrary to popular belief, the bat is a shy gentle creature that is beneficial to mankind. Studies show that a single brown bat can consume over 600 flying insects per hour. This should make the bat a welcome visitor to your yard indeed!

Mount the bat house on a pole or under the eaves of a house, garage, or barn approximately 12-20 feet off the ground - preferably facing south as bats prefer warmth in the range of 85 to 100 degrees inside their home. Bat houses require no maintenance and should be left in place year round.
